I'm a Senior in college, and known by my peers as the go to "intellectual authority for everything hip-hop". I post and review the best songs hip-hop has to offer, old and new. Most will be in the “underground” genre, considering that’s where the vast majority of hip-hop's true art resides these days. I update my tumblr daily with new music. Madvillain - Great Day (Four Tet Remix)

I definitely like Four Tet’s version more than the original. The unique instrumental seems to produce a spacy aura which gives MF DOOM’s lyrics a more profound philosophical feel. I also love the instrumental’s “backwards” demeanor. This is a true classic in the realm of abstract hip-hop, and one of my favorite MF DOOM songs. You definitely enjoy this song a lot more if you’re in the right mind set, if you know what I mean. I also just got Madvillainy on vinyl…pretty happy about it.
