To be honest I really really like it, but it got old pretty fast. It has a low replay value. Neither of them have a real emotional connection to any of their songs. It’s just metaphor after metaphor and statement after statement (pretty much like what Lil Wayne did for Tha Carter IV, but his metaphors and statements suck in comparison). There isn’t any real substance that makes me want to go back to it in the future and start listening to the album again. Eminem’s song “Going Through Changes” is definitely my favorite song he’s done since he came back to the game after his hiatus. It’s lyrically strong, and most importantly it has a personal aspect that makes it more than just a song with words…his statements have emotional weight that stick with you long after you finished listening to it. It makes it worth playing for years to come, especially if you find yourself in a mental rut.
