I’m seeing him March 30th. He’s performing at a venue 5 minutes away from my house…and my brother is friends with the person opening for him.
I’ve been a fan of Hopsin for some time now, and his rise to stardom is definitely a good thing for hip-hop. He reps hip-hop’s darker side, and even though he’s no Tech N9ne, his flow has so much personality it’s hard not to get caught up in what he’s saying. A lot of Hopsin’s work reminds me of Eminem’s early music. Raw with no boundaries. Obviously I’m not saying he’s on par with the legendary intensity of younger Eminem, but their styles overlap in a lot of areas. I definitely have high hopes for his music career and his future releases. I will definitely get some video of the concert.
